A Madison [WI] and Chicago lawyer, Tenney also dabbled in cosmological theory; this book collects five pamphlets by him on the nature of the Sun, Earth, and Solar system. He asserts, among other things, that the Earth is timeless, is now as it has been always; that the Sun does not emit light & heat but rather electricity; that the Universe will never grow cold. First edition thus. Small hardcover, full brown cloth, gilt titling. Light wear, corners rubbed & frayed; tipped-in presentation slip with added pencil note from Madison banker O. D. Brandenburg, 1929; pencil note on title page. Text clean; 105 pages. . First Collected Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 5¼" by 7¾".
