New York: Charles Scribner's Sons 1916 (c.1913) Tissue-guard frontispiece by Philip R. Goodwin (The illustrator of four of the eight plates listed.) This illustrator has contributed to Jack London's 'Call of the Wild',1903. The other illustrated work is by F.C. Yohn (3 full-page) and I Walker Taylor. Dark green cloth boards. Attractively decorated and designed front board. Gilt title print to front board and spine. Wear to spine ends and corner tips. No ownership markings. Small bookseller sticker to ffep. A firm still-bright book.. Hard Cover. Very Good.
