An outstanding biography of this unique but underrated French composer. CONTENTS: Introduction; His Life; His Works; Conclusion; Bibliography; Appendix (list of compositions); Index. 242 pages, illustrated with photographs and musical examples. CONDITION: a solid, square NEAR VERY GOOD copy, lacking the original dust-jacket. Its covers are a bit worn and bumped, specifically at the spine ends and lower right corners - those corners also color-faded (possible water incursion - see accompanying scan images). The interior is bright and clean - unmarked but for a previous owner's signature on the front free endpaper. This quite respectable copy is now enclosed in a clear, protective polypropylene bag.
