Heavily worn covers - most of marbled paper missing from front cover and some from back cover; rubbed at edges; leather backing complete and supple; tightly bound; owner name on front pastedown; leaves preliminary to l. 15/16 cut out; pp. 15 - 20 covered with pasted in articles; first legible page is 21; ll. 81/82 and 83/84 cut out; several final leaves (149/150 to 155/156) torn at lower portion with some text missing. 16mo, 156 pp. At publication date 'Arkansaw' and Michigan were yet territories and Northwest Territory had 'very few settlements'.
