(Exact Facsimile of The Fabulously Rare 1898 Edition) Very large, very thick, heavy sturdy book, dark green cloth, very bright gilt lettering to spine, the first front end paper removed (owner's info?), 1183 pages incuding a Table of Supplies, pages with several bills of fare of famous restaurants pages 25-168. DJ price-clipped, glossy gold background with ornate purple design to front borders, white at center back with a list of other Dover books on cooking and foods. DJ has a tear to the protective plastic at the spine bottom middle. Near Very Good DJ/Near Good book.
