The plan was to sail on summer breezes, paint in the warmth of the sun and spend nights under the stars. In reality, the enjoyment of beautiful and remote silent creeks was 'paid for' with bizarre and sometimes frightening experiences that forced a flexible approach to this unusual project.David Weston's fine watercolours illustrate the course of Epic's voyage. David Weston opened a gallery in Mevagissey,Cornwall,in the 70s,and paints for a living. His bookshelves contain as many sailing adventures as work relating to his profession.
