Commemorative Catalogue of an Exhibition held at the Victoria and Albert Museum May 5th - June 20th, 1948. Special Limited Edition of only 1000 copies, this being numbered 356. Preface by Aubrey J. Toppin, Foreword by Bernard Rackham, and then a descriptive catalogue ranging from Delftware to slipware, Elers ware to Brown stoneware, Bow porcelain to Derby porcelain, Worcester Porcelain to Lowestoft and Liverpool and Plymouth and Bristol porcelain. Sturdy, attractive, tightly bound hardcover, clean, if toned, minimal rubbing to extremities. Bound handsomely in tan cloth, with gilt lettering over a burgundy leather label. Full-color frontispiece, and a long range of black-and-white plates following 94 [1] pp. of text.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
