Macmillan, 1935. Cloth. Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. (New Edition, Four Volumes in Two) Very large, very heavy books, two volumes, black cloth. Volume I: Bottom front tip very slightly bumped, gilt gone in embossed data on spine, 389 lightly browned pages, some fold-out illustrations. Volume II: 1.5" light scratch at bottom front, creased at bottom tips, light wear along spine right edge, 462 lightly browned pages, several fold-outs of facsimile letters. Near Very Good set.
