London, England: Oxford at the Clarendon Press. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1964. Hard Cover. B000K07KWQ . Navy blue hard boards with gilt Oxford insignia and lettering on spine. One stamp on fore edge (faded) 'Province du Christ Roi" and a small stamp from 'College Bruyere' on title page. On the front and back free end-paper there is some tape residue. Some notes in pencil, only on a few pages. Book is in excellent condition as far as binding and being clean. DJ is clipped and has been covered with a clear plastic and has some minor edgewear. "This voulme is concerned with English Literature in a period in which men were anxious to discover the limits of reason, and in which nature poetry was invigorated by the new wonder aroused by science." ; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall; 701 pages .
