London: Longmans Green & Co., 1951. No dustwrapper, minor bumping to spine ends of blue cloth-covered boards and slight fading to spine of same, but gilt titles thereon are still bright. Otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book in which the authors look at how British people spend their leisure time as of the late 1940s based on interviews with 220 people. Drinking , Gambling and fornication were just as common back then as they are now. Also compares leisure activities in Scandinavia with those in Britain. Originally published in June 1951, this is a repint from September the same year. 482pp.. Reprint. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
