Reprint Edition in an unaltered and unabridged edition, original published in 1936, Professor Temperley provides a comprehensive study of British European diplomatic history as it relates to countries comprising the Ottoman Empire, masterly and extremely detailed English and European history. Book is Very Good Plus, some light foxing on top edge else near Fine, very clean navy blue cloth with bright gilt titles to spine, tight and square with sharp corners, previous owner name neatly on front pastedown. 548 pages including index, folding maps present, text in never read condition. Jacket is Very Good plus, some light edge wear, bright and clean with minor toning, protected in a new mylar sleeve. A very clean and most presentable edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
