First Paperback Ed. & 1st Printing!.. 244 pages; COMPLETE and UNABRIDGED 1st Paperback Printing; "A novel of soldiers overseas, far from their own women; Skinner Galt sought experince in drugs, alcohol and women. He cruelly destroyed the one love affair that meant anything to him; he consorted indifferently with sluts and carelessly with silly, willing girls. He tried to find a meaning for life surrounded by death, a reason for war in the midst of battle, a shred of truth in a universe of deceit.
