The text is illustrated with colour and black-and-white photographs and illustrations. Blue coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Volume 2:  [3], 228, 443, [5] pages, index. Navy blue coloured end pages. The text is illustrated with colour and black-and-white photographs and illustrations. Blue coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Photographic dustwrappers  showing various forms of military aircraft  with yellow and white coloured titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the back strip. Title says it all. Both books show a little rubbing at the edges and very light age toning of the text block edges. The dustwrappers are slightly creased with rubbing to the panels. Fading of the back strips.
