About This Item
NY: The Century Co, 1931. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Uncommon title by Edith Ballinger Price (, 1897 - 1997), American writer and illustrator of eighteen children's books, who studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and later at the New York Art Students League and the National Academy of Design. A sea-going juvenile. Book apparently unread - blue linen, stamped in gilt, prictorial endpapers. Striking dustjacket pictorial in orange, blue and white. Dustjacket is dustily soiled, more so at spine, and chipped at corners and head of spine. Still, presentable overall. JUVENILE.
