Ochre paper-covered boards with a maroon cloth spine; lettering in gilt. A nice bright copy with a slight splay; some light spotting on the edges. 239 pages. The dustjacket is unclipped; evidence of an old sticker on the front flap, a few nicks and tiny chips on the spine, but also nicely bright. In a plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Synopsis

The Empty Copper Sea (1978) is the seventeenth novel in the Travis McGee series by John D. Macdonald. In it, McGee looks into the apparent drowning of Hub Lawless in a boating accident. His $2 million insurance policy leads some to believe he has faked his death. Sam Elliott played McGee in the television movie of The Empty Copper Sea, titled Travis McGee (1983).
