William Aiken Starrett, Jr. (1877 -1932) was the builder of the Empire State Building He is remembered as building the tallest steel and concrete structures of his time as a new art form - the American skyscraper. He was once nicknamed the "father of the skyscraper." Text is tight and unmarked. Blue paper boards with a cream paper spine and embossed cream-colored outline of the Empire State Building on the front board have light soil, are rubbed at extremities.with small loss of material.. 584.
