About This Item
Basel, Switzerland / Tokyo: S Karger AG / Japan Scientific Societies Press, 1986. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Hardcover/ no DJ (as issued?); VG+ condition- WOULD BE Fine to As New, except that cloth covering on back cover has been shaved from top left corner, exposing underlying board corner. Blemish is triangular (3/8 down x 1"" across), followed by 1"" scuff across top edge. Apparent First Edition- no further printings noted, 446 pages, 9.25"" x 6"". Lime green cloth binding is clean, square & bright w/ little to no other use- maybe a trace of shelf wear. NO bumps, frays, sun, soil, etc. All lettering & decoration on cover & spine are crisp & intact. Copy still displays very well. Text is tight, white, clean, unmarked. NO hinge splits or remainder mark, NOT ex library. Very handsome, well preserved copy, despite above noted flaw- appears unread.
