The Emin Pasha Relief Expedition of 1886 to 1889 was the last major European expedition into the interior of Africa in the nineteenth century led by Henry Morton Stanley. Some discoloration of boards, small stain to black endpapers. Front gutter cracking and hinging at page 112. All in all, attractive and clean. With map and numerous illustrations. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 490 pages; 24069 .
