Unclipped jacket with some chipping and closed tears to extremities. Front panel and spine age-toned with previous owner's signature to top for front panel. Edges of text block age-toned with previous owner's signature to top edge. A couple spots of foxing, else clean internally. near fine Reprinted edition of Montgomery's third novel in the "Emily" series. Later dust jacket, with mention of Montgomery's Order of the British Empire, awarded by King George V in 1935. Russell does not seem to have noted this reprint edition, perhaps due to the rarity of the dust wrappers. See also our copy of Rilla of Ingleside. 1935
