Possibly privately bound. Undated, but c.1930. Condition: Very good, with slight shelfwear to covers. Binding sound. Light foxing to fore-edge of textblock. This bound issue has no "cover pages" but starts with front endpapers and the title page. As is is issue no.41 (published quarterly) the page no.s run from 967 to 1084. 16 colour plates. Many b/w illustrations. This charming periodical includes articles on chain-stitch embroidery, the Yew Tree linen industy, and self-coloured emboirdery, together with designs for dress decoration, all the while suggesting the use of Old Bleach Linen or Pearsall's embroidery silks..
