First Edition [1959]; First Printing indicated (no subsequent printings noted). Very Good+ in Very Good DJ: The Book shows indications of very careful use: just a touch of wear to the upper extremities; moderate shelfwear to the lower edges; former owner's name and address at the front pastedown endpaper; the pages, while not severely tanned, are perhaps not as bright and crisp as when new; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. The DJ shows light wear to the extremities; a number of short, closed tears and a very small chip at the the top of the front panel; mild overall rubbing; mylar-protected. No longer 'As New', but remains structurally sound and tightly bound, showing only minor wear in a like DJ. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. 313pp. Foreward by William Hogan. Hardback with DJ. SIGNED BY AUTHOR.
