About This Item
Edinburgh: William Paterson. Very Good+ with no dust jacket. 1885. Reprint. Hardcover. 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; Dark blue cloth covered boards with gilt print on spine, top edge gilt and untrimmed fore edges. Light wear, corners lightly bumped. This is a very attractive volume with good quality paper, having only light yellowing. Hinges cracked but solid. Undated - circa 1880's (second preface dated 1883). In this story Holmes demonstrates his opposition to the concept of that 'an individual can be held morally responsible for an inherited flaw. ' (Benet) .

About Ainsworth Books
Ainsworth Books was for many years a bricks and mortar store in Vancouver, BC. When we acquired the store, we moved to a location in Delta. After three years we moved the stock home and started operation as an online, by appointment only operation. I have worked with books my whole adult life and enjoy giving recommendations.
