Includes: "A Doll's House," "Ghosts," "An Enemy of the People," "The Master Builder," "Pillars of Society," "Hedda Gabler," "John Gabriel Borkman," "The Wild Duck," "The League of Youth," "Rosmersholm" and "Peer Gynt." With an introduction by H. L. Mencken. --- In Toledano spine G5 / red cloth / gilt titling on black cover & spine blocks / faded black topstain / blank GA style endpapers / jacket style Ge, verso advertises titles in ML catalog, but no total number. Likely published c.1961 (no publication date appears in book). ML #G18.1. --- With mild soiling to spine, prior owner's signature in ink to front free endpaper, else a well-preserved copy: clean, tightly-bound and unmarked. Dust jacket with chipping and small tears along edges, general rubbing and light foxing to back panel, otherwise intact and protected in new removable mylar wrapper.
