It was widely reported in the provincial as well as the London press, but public interest, engaged by affairs of greater moment, was short-lived. Having some personal knowledge of the people involved and a novelist's curiosity about them, R.C.Hutchinson set himself to find out everything he could about the immediate and the remoter causes of the crime; and in this, the first full-length book he has published since 1940, he gives the results of his investigation in the form of a continuous narrative.* A NEAR FINE text copy with some age and shelf wear reducing it to GD+. Dust jacket now in clear un-attached dust-wrapper.*
