Recent. 287 pp. Authors include Johnson, Cowper, Beattie, Warburton, Jones, Hume, Dunning, Gibbon, Seward, Fox. Pink/white marbled boards with tan leather spine and tips, faded gilt lettering and design on spine. Cover corners and edges are bumped and rubbed, some to boards. Leather tips/spines are worn and leather is cracked. Cover faces are scuffed, dirt smudges. Spines are rubbed, some tears to joints, spine ends are bent and rubbed from shelf wear. Bookplate of Goold Hoyt Redmond (1836-1906), resident of New York and graduate of Columbia University, adhered on front inside cover of each book. Pink marbled endpapers. Interior pages are browning along edges, foxing (some pages heavily foxed), text is easily legible. Overall books in Good condition. Charming collection. . Boards. Good. Size: Approx. 3 1/4" x 5 1/4". Collection.
