Ribbon bookmark is, in fact, still in its original position. Large octavo, and a rather mammoth xxviii + 897 pp.; full rich very dark navy leather - virtual black - gilt decorated and imprinted, spine panels rib divided, All Edges Gilt, black silk moire endpapers with navy satin page-marker ribbon. Franklin's as-always lavish binding of Lash's rich 1971 biography of the relationship between Eleanor and Franklin Roosevelt, based on his many years of experience as their chronicler. The Franklin Library, doing what they did best. Handsomely preserved. Please review scans. With the author's "A Special Message to Subscribers from Joseph P.
