About This Item
New York: Farrar, Straus and Cudahy, 1959. Cloth. Very Good +/Very Good. SIGNED --AND DATED-- BY T.S. ELIOT on the title page just under his printed name. A solid copy to boot of the stated 1959 1st American edition. Tight and VG+ (just a bit of foxing at the endsheets and pastedowns) in a bright, price-intact, VG dustjacjket, with spotting along th flaps and very light creasing and chipping along the panel edges. Still though, a very presentable copy of this, "the thrid of Mr. Eliot's plays to have been produced with great success at the Edinburgh Festival before opening in London."
