Ayuntamiento de Valencia, 1964. Soft cover. Very Good/Fair. Folio size, 115 pp., in Spanish. A collection of facsimiles of the anatomical etchings of Crisostomo Martinez (1638-1694), an artist of Valencia known for his atlas of anatomy.
___DESCRIPTION: Thin cream paper boards, title page in crimson and black with illustration, seventeen black-and-white reproductions of anatomical etchings by Crisostomo Martinez, with two fold-out illustrations; folio size (12.25" by 9.25"), pagination: [1-10] 11-80 [81-115]. Please note the text is in Spanish. In a cream paper dust jacket with portrait of Martinez and black and brown lettering on the front panel, brown lettering on the spine, decoration in brown on the rear panel, illustration caption and credit on the front flap; the dust jacket is unclipped, but there is no price.
___CONDITION: Volume is very good, with a strong, square text block with solid hinges, the interior is clean and bright, and entirely free of prior owner markings; boards are clean overall with a few spots of soiling, light sunning to the edges, light wear to the corners and head and tail of the spine, fold-out illustrations have a few shallow creases to the corners, but are otherwise clean and without wear. The dust jacket is fair, unclipped, with light soiling, sunning to the spine, some wear to the top edge, with significant loss to the spine and top edge.
