London: Collins, 1966. Ex library copy with sellotape marks inside boards, remains of paper label on f/ep, ink stamps on title page and rev, and on last couple of pages. Minor creasing and a small tear to edges of unclipped dustwrapper, very slight bumping to spine of blue boards, brown sellotape marks to top and bottom edges of same. Otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book dealing with the first successful climb of the north face of the Eiger by the Diretissima or Direct route. 183pp, 14 colour and 24 b&w illustrations.(. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.
