About This Item

San Buenaventura,CA: John Anthony Miller Studio, 2011. This is a facsimile first edition dust jacket rendered by fine art artist John Anthony Miller -for the 1949 book published by Putnams in NY - with his "JAM" monogram on the bottom of the rear jacket flap and marked tastefully on the edge of the rear flap (as shown in the photo). "Facsimile Dust Jacket and with his monogram "JAM" as shown. A permanently affixed label signed by the artist-restorer signifying that this is a facsimile dust jacket is also affixed to the verso of the dust jacket. This is not removable without destroying the jacket and to also again to assure others that this is a collectible reproduction of the original jacket. The dust jacket comes pre-folded and fitted to a first edition book and is enclosed in a Mylar sleeve, ready to put onto your book. This first edition jacket facsimile will also fit most of the earlier later printings as well. Later printings differed in appearance. Printed on acid-free paper with light fast pigment inks, a quality rendition. NOTE: The book was published by Putnam Company in 1949. This jacket will fit that edition, and also can be made to fit any other numerous printings, which came in various sizes. Let me know the height, spine thickness and front board width and I can make one for you at no additional charge..
