A terse, yet information-rich text (English) provides a commentary behind the images. The author is a science writer specializing in great civilizations of the past, and has been studying and researching Ancient Egypt for many years. A gorgeous photo book with colour and B&W photos and illustrations. Large, blue hardcover with gilt lettering. 290 pages with index. DJ (King Tut's golden mask on front) has some edgewear, minor edge curling and a 1/2 tear at bottom spine edge. Nice copy. Oversized. Extra shipping required outside Ontario.
