Oxford: Printed at the Theater, 1687.. Fifth impression, 12mo, (xii), 309, (1) pp, lacking a final blank. Vignette of the Sheldonian Theatre to title page, contemporary inscription to the half title with another of a similar vintage mostly obscured to the fly leaf verso. Contemporary sheep with some wear, recently rebacked. Master of University College, Walker had been forced to travel during the interregnum and continued his travels during the restoration as well as publishing a number of books. Declaring himself a Catholic during James II's reign, he lost his status once more after the Glorious Revolution. ODNB describes him as "...one of the most productive scholars of Restoration Oxford", adding "his ghost is reputed to haunt staircase 8 of University College". Wing W403. First published 1672.
