About This Item
Edinburgh: Canongate, 1979. Some fading to the spine of the unclipped dustwrapper, minor bumping to spine ends of black boards, a previous seller's label inside front board, otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover novel. Set in Edinburgh in 1704, the story revolves round the true-life case of the hanging for piracy of Thomas Green, the Captain of the English ship ''Worcester'', along with two of his crew. The author is perhaps better-known as Bob Crampsey, who wrote quite a lot on Scottish football. 136pp.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
