London: Dodsley, 1767 Book. Good. Half leather. Lacks 1/2 title page. [iii] - xix, [v], 164 pages. ESTC T85986 Illustrations by S Wale and C Grignion are - 1. Edge Hill tower 2. Warwick Castle 3. Ruins of Kenilworth Castle 4. Two women, sheep, arms and weapons - perhaps trophies of war + an unsigned tailpiece. In old half leather, but the front board is held on with just one cord. Ink owners' inscription to the front pastedown of Richard Savage who was Librarian at Shakespeare's Birthplace, 1884. More modern bookplate beneath of Percival F Hinton. Ink owner's name to the head of the title page - Thomas Gibbs Wolverton. Someone has also added Vicar of Snitterfield after the author's name..
