No dustwrapper, minor wear to spine ends and to a lesser extent the corners of blue boards, some foxing to outer pages,otherwise a good clean tight copy, with gilt titles on spine still bright, of this slim hard-cover book. A collection of translations by the author of poems originally written in other languages. Includes French poems done in Scots, English poems by Oliver Wendell Holmes done into German, and verses from Omar Khayyam translated into Welsh Romany. The author was a Medical man but with a great talent for languages, speaking nineteen in total. Some pages still uncut. 103pp.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
