About This Item

Macon, Georgia: Mercer University Press, 1987. Paperback. Very Good Plus. REPRINT. Rear panel sunned, as if through a bookend, otherwise a very nice copy. Black lettering to spine, blue and black lettering to front of ocean-blue covers. Black and white illustrations. Clean, bright and solidly bound. 129 pp with index. "The heart of Ebb Tide is the diary of Josephine Clay Habersham which she kept in 1863. The story is particularly one of life and death in wartime as it affected the Habersham family, but it has broader implications than can be found in Savannah, the home of this eminent Georgia family," (preface).
