Illustrated with 20 black and white reproductions including a 16th c. plan of Moscow and two maps (one map folding to two and one folding to 1 1/2 pages). A biography of the exporer/adventurer Will Adams. A very tight fresh, clean copy with fresh cloth and bright gilt. Very slight shadow of offsetting to front free endpaper, else a fine unmarked volume. Dust jacket shows light dusting overall and a short closed edge tear to rear panel with a couple of minor edge nicks. With the quite minor defects noted, a very near fine volume in a very good dust jacket. An unusually well preserved copy of this title. Uncommon..
