London: Oxford University Press, 1939. No dustwrapper, some fading to spine of red boards, gilt titles theron are also faded but still readable, some bumping to spine ends and corners, yellowing to the pages, but otherwise a good tight copy of this hard-cover adventure story for boys. The story involves two boys who discover a cave used by smugglers on the Scottish coast only to be kidnapped by the smugglers and taken to Egypt, then India. Originally published in 1933, this is a later reprint from 1939. The author's real name was Lawrence Harbourn (1879-1941). 288pp, colour frontispiece.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
