The author (1880-1950) was a well-known American writer and correspondent. He covered the Russian Revolution of 1917, which might be the basis upon which he formed a character in this book, Pavel Boganoff, an astronomer who has come to visit a fellow astronomer in New Hampshire. Foxing spots on prelims and edges, but interior clean. 217 pp..
