Very good, 1st edition (3rd impression - Nov1940 after 1st in Sept) in mustard coloured French wraps (some soiling around edges), untrimmed stapled pages unmarked and crisp; owner's plate glued to ffep (Hugo Scrutton). 8vo (230 x 150 / 9"" x 6""). The first part of what would be published a few years later as Eliot's wartime masterpiece, 'Four Quartets'.
