Rupert Hart-Davies, 1962. 1st Edition 1st Impression. Hardcover. Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 1st ed, 1st imp. 190pp. Red cloth boards (sharp and bright, vey slightly rounded at spine tips). Mild foxing to text block edge and endpapers, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original, gently worn dust jacket (small crush at head of spine, a couple of mild marks, shelf wear). Dust jacket now in archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong the life of the jacket. It is not adhered to the book or to the dust jacket. A deliciously light-hearted confection of a novel in which two love-torn youngsters are thrown together in the heart of New York City.
