Near Fine in Spiral-Bound heavy card wraps: shows a faint bit of creasing just below the cut-out for the bottom spiral at the lower front panel; a touch of paint spotting at the inside of the rear panel; a short, superficial scratch to the lower front panel; the spiral binding is secure; the text is clean. Free of any creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any underlining, hi-lighting or marginalia or marks in the text. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. A handsome, nearly-new copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing the mildest wear and minor, unobtrusive imperfections. Bright and clean. Corners sharp. Very close to "As New". NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.55 x 7.35 x 0.8 inches). 25 full-color 'framed' plates with facing titles and informative text. Introduction by William Zimmer. Language: English. Weight: 22.8 ounces. First published in 1957. Trade Paperback. Robert Cenedella, Jr. (born May 24, 1940) is an American artist. He became well known for his paintings. IRobert Cenedella's works are known for their pictorial satire, humor and fantasy. His art chronicles the changing rituals and myths of society in contemporary America. In the last 20 years, Cenedella has amassed considerable international praise as well as inclusion in numerous public and private collections. Cenedella's life and works are the subject of the 2016 documentary film, Art Bastard. The film was submitted to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the 2016 Oscars and was in consideration for the Documentary Feature category for the 89th Academy Awards. It has received multiple awards in the festival circuit, such as Winner of Best Documentary at the Manchester Film Festival and Winner of Best Documentary and Best Director — Documentary at the Idllywild International Festival of Cinema. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 150 pages .
