Privately printed, [Oxford]., 1958. First edition. Octavo. 13 pages. Wrappers. A sequence of five poems. The author's first book, as Newdigate Prize poems tend to be.Signed by the author inside the front cover; he has also made a crucial correction to the quotation from Milton on the front cover, repeated on the title-page. Laid in is a short Autograph Letter Signed by the author, dated 15 October 1966: about 70 words in which he mentions working with Herbert Davis on the Albion press in the Bodleian.Letter: single fold; very good. Book: covers very slightly spotted; near fine.
