About This Item

NY: W. W. Norton & Company; (2003). First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Fine. Very good in a fine dust jacket. There is a small label pull on the front endpaper, otherwise the book and jacket are fine. Inscribed by the author to James Olney on the half title page. There is a typed letter to James Olney (editor of Southern Review) thanking him for publishing one of the poems in this book, and asking if the book could be reviewed in the magazine. Both book and letter are signed "Pete Fairchild". This book went on to win the National Book Critics Circle Award for poetry.
