New York: Harcourt, Brace & Co, (1930). First edition. Seventy poems for young people with introduction by Sandburg and illustrations by James Daugherty. 8vo silver-stamped purple cloth; 136 pages. Very good with spine showing slight fading and rubbing to silver lettering which is nonetheless bright; in good, somewhat soiled dust jacket darkened on spine and along edges, chipped at spine ends, and with author's name on spine faded and all four flap corners clipped, presumably as issued. Relatively scarce in dust jacket.
