NY.: Macmillan & Co., 1928. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Good. A Near Fine volume in a Good Dust Jacket. Though jacket is corner clipped, original price of $5.00 on front flap. Bound in green cloth; front corners are gently bumped, as is crown and foot of spine cloth; bright gilt titles. Illustrated with b/w photographs (many with original tissue guards in place) and facsimiles throughout. End-papers are lightly age-toned. Interior is clean and tight, no markings. Dust Jacket has a publishers printed "Remainder Sold At Reduced Price' printed under authors name. Jacket has an approx. 2" chip at lower spine; spine paper sunned. All of jackets extremities have small or tiny edge chips, with flap folds being rubbed - but a complete jacket. FIRST EDITION. Mylar protected jacket. 327 pages.
