Bound in white plastic comb binding with stiff peagreen wraps, illustrated on the front cover with scene including a river, loggers, and a cabin against a mountain backdrop. Slight edge-wear, comb intact; a well preserved copy. Superb vernacular history drawing on resources that includes photographs provided by families long established in the region. One volume in a series of 10 proposed by the author-publisher. Of those, we can only confirm In the Shadow of the Cabinets - Early History of Kootenai Country (1976) was published, as it is or was in our inventory.
