The State Printing Company, 1976. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo. 75 pages. Hardcover in blue cloth with title in gilt on front cover. Binding is rubbed, has light foxing. Text is clean. The Kanuga Conference Center is and Episcopal retreat located outside of Hendersonville, North Carolina. It was co-founded by Kirkman George Finlay (1877-1938). Finlay was the first bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina when it was created in 1922. He did much to create churches and schools for African-Americans in South Carolina in the 1920s-1930s.
