The first edition of this work.An exploration of the homes Prince Albert lived in during his youth across Europe.Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, twelve tinted plates, and many in-text engravings.Collated, complete.Written by Alfred Rimmer.Two pages of publisher's adverts, bound after page xiii. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Very light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Spine is a little faded. Some light marks to the boards and spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with just some odd spots. Small faint tide mark to the head of the textblock, showing to the pages of the second half of the textblock. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
