Norman: University of Oklahoma Press, 1934. Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. First Thus. 155 pages, frontis, illustrations, minor edge wear to jacket, owner name. Seger was the founder of Colony Oklahoma and the Model Indian Industrial School. His memoirs were presented to the University of Oklahoma and were edited by Vestal and published in 1923. This is the first printing in book form. Many believe Vestal wrote most of the material. Vestal grew up in Arapahoe country and was a friend to Seger. Vestal's first work. Contains an appendix with the traditions of the Cheyenne Indians. Rader 2904.
